Lorsque l'armée arménienne a attaqué, beaucoup d'entre eux ont rempli des bus avec peu de biens qu'ils pouvaient emporter avec eux. Juste à l'extérieur, ils ont tous été arrêtés par des soldats arméniens et forcés de sortir du bus, leurs biens ont été saccagés, des femmes ont été agressées, leurs bijoux ont été volés, les poches ont été vidées, les hommes opposés à ces violences ont été abattus. Après cette fouille, les soldats leur ont demandé de prendre nos chaussures, puis des tirs en l'air leur ont ordonné de courir.
"Voir ce bus abandonné a fait écho à ce souvenir. Ces histoires que j'ai entendues à plusieurs reprises de la part de nombreux réfugiés et déplacés. Aujourd'hui, presque au même endroit, j'ai trouvé des bus qui m'ont symboliquement fait réfléchir à ces histoires. Puis j'ai trouvé, sur le sol, les chaussures et les tenues de soldats arméniens laissés ici probablement pendant qu'ils fuyaient. C'est une leçon de l'histoire, ne faites pas aux autres ce que vous ne feriez pas pour quelqu'un d'autre.

Nature took back his right. In the 90s, after the end of the active combats in Karabakh, I met with refugees from Füzuli. I will never forget the stories they told me about the moment they had to leave their homes and lands. When the Armenian army attacked, many of them filled up buses with few belongings they could take with them. Just outside, they were all stoped by Armenian soldiers and forced out of the bus, their belongings were ransacked, women were assaulted, their jewelries were stollen taken, pockets were emptied, the men opposing this violence were shot. After this frisking, the soldiers asked them to take our their shoes and then shooting in the air ordered them to run. Seeing this abandoned bus echoed with this memory. These stories I heard repeatedly from many refugees and displaced people. Today almost at the same place I found buses that symbolically made me think about these stories. Then I found, on the ground, the shoes and outfits of Armenian soldiers left here probably while they were fleeing.
